Is A Model 1330 Hydro Trans Serviceable

Called the only cub dealer in my area and asked what was the cost of the filter and fluid and how much Hytran did I need to get. He said that he didn't know if the model1330 has a serviceable hydro trans or not.I looked around here and can't find nothing about it. My owners manual doesn't have anything either.


Does anybody know?

Sam, I tried to pull down a 'service manual' from the MTD site, but it said 'not available'! As you noted nothing in the owners manual about the hydro either...strange...an oil-less hydro ???
Maybe Myron Bounds will check in later, he seems to have a good handle on CCC and MTD tractors.

Sam S: The transaxle in the Model 1330 was manufactured by Agri-Fab and is repairable if a problem occurs. All parts are shown in the Lawn Tractors Parts Manual and what you need is the Cub Cadet Lawn Tractors Service Manual which includes the 1330....I don't have that particular one, but I do have the one for the the 1320 which uses the same transaxle.

My guess is that you aren't navigating the MTD/Cub Cadet Manuals site correctly...I'd suggest that you try try again.

Myron I have tried 5 times to get a look at the service manual at the cub site and all I get is a response saying that it is unavailable at this time. And yes I have tried to get it to pull up on different days and weeks. I guess there is a problem with the link for that manual. Can anybody tell me what I need to do to service this transaxle?
