I'd like to thank everyone who attended and made this a fantastic event!! I was a little worried when I saw the registration numbers, but we had over 300 people at the event, and over 150 tractors. The field we plowed was 53 acres, and there was about a 5' strip that wasn't finished, and the headlands. The owner of the field said we plowed an easy 50 acres, so hats off to the plowers!!

The Rockford Volunteer Fire Dept took in over $1000 for the food stand, so on their behalf, a big THANK YOU!!!!!

We enjoyed hosting the event, and look forward to our next turn.

I would also like to request (as a courtesy to future hosts) PLEASE take the time to register, even if you're unsure if you'll be able to attend. We ran low on food, and could have used another porta pot. The registration is to help get an idea how many people will be there for these reasons, so please help out by registering.

That being said, any word on a fall Plow Day??? Seems like it's time for an IN area???

Travis, before I forget, <blink>THANK YOU</blink> for a great Plow Day!!!!)

As usual, if you took any photos at Plow Day I'd like to get copies of them for my "Archive", anyone that sends me their photos gets a free CD with all the photos I get. TIA!

If you need my mailing address please inquire via email. And if you only have a few photos you can email those to me rather than mailing a CD but please check with me first so I know what is being sent.

One more photo set from Friday evening then I need to get some work done.)

As one driver of the 317SE said, "It's a party for this tractor!"

I just need to figure out how to make it plow really deep now so I can work it a little!

Really like the extra clearance the 26x12.00-12 rear lugs and 4.00-12 front ribs give it. The front tires measure 21.5" overall diameter

Just got this note from Hugh Simon. Thanks Hugh!

John-

the Ferrari diesel is owned by Kevin Dunham.

The 582 that you have a picture of with the John Deere wheel weights and the IH weight hanging on the back is me, Hugh Simon from Austin, MN and you are right I did get sun and wind burned.

ROTFLMAO Well my son Patrick finally made one of the posted pictures. If you look real close at the night parade round, I am the last set of lights and Pat is following me. He has no lights on his 1200. His mother says the picture shows his best side. Cool pics.

I had a great time at plowday even though I did not bring a tractor to plow with, got to meet a lot of folks. Next time I will be bringing a tractor and plow.
I would like to report that my Geo Metro with over 200000 did not skip a beat on the trip down and back, not bad on gas either, 9.7 gallons @ 51 miles per gallon, Could be the tail wind on the trip home helped.
