Tom H- U Missed it i was going in 3rd gear with turfs and no chains with my 582 all day. The only thing that slowed me down was the guy in the JD tractors!!

Thanks to Travis for the good time.

I can still hear Art singing "I saw the LIGHT" from the nite plow

Travis,
Thanks again for another very enjoyable plow day. Again the weather was nice, except for the wind. But again I came home with a smile on my face, joy of meeting new people and old friends, and of course the burned face from the sun and/or wind. And of course the best part is both tractors operated good, except for my grandson forgetting to fill up with fuel before the parade run, but everything came home in one piece and shined up. Thanks again.

Kevin,
Have any more pics? Did you end up using that I-beam to lift the engine? Looks good.
By the way, yesterday I used the old painted plug from that engine I got from you. The 125 didn't want to start. Spark was weak, and the plug was wet. I wire-wheeled the black one, screwed it in, and it fired right up. Does this mean I owe you another dollar?

OK, it's morning now. (What a pain in the a$$, huh!)

Now that the REAL Plow Day is officially over, if anyone has a small plot, local plowing or something not a full blown Plow Day to work, let the Forum know. I didn't want to step on Travis's toes before I posted this request.

Travis, how big was that field? Is there any of it left to plow up? This was one of the first plow day that I actually saw that many poeple plowing all the time. Usually you have a few out there most of the day, and a lot of them make a couple rounds and then park until the parade lap. I would say that close to half of the tractors were out in the field at all times.

Was that a different field you guys were in or is there some newer building up? Looks a little different than I remember.

Thanks to everyone for making PD9 Plow Day a big success. I took over 40 photos and burned the HiRes Versions on a CD and it will go to Kraig M. tomorrow for possible inclusion in the event CD.

Here's one I took.

Remember the original measures 32" by 24" and this is reduced down to 6"x4.5" and resolution reduced way down for posting here. To see the best versions You'll have to buy Kraig's CD.

Tom, This field is just South of the field of the last event at Rockford. The corn stalks in the background of this photo are where we plowed last time.

John "L",
I like the "Red, White, and Blue" wheel weight on the 782. Who is the operator?

I remember the guy and the tractor but I didn't catch his name.

The front weights are from a gym type weight machine! 14 @ 10# each.

He's the Case-IH man! Name?

Here's another snap from a larger photo.
This was a good running cub.

Name?

And here's another little teaser!

Name?

Notice his red face! We all got wind & sun burnt.
Really strong wind out of the South!

And one more on the red theme...

That big one sounded great! Big deep sound.
Where's the plow?

Remember these are just snaps of portions of bigger photos...

Here's about half to a third of the parking area crowd.

P.S.

That's Mike Schiefelbein's nice jd300 in the foreground.

This was my first PD and it was great. It gave me a chance to meet some of you and see the different model cubs in person. A big THANK YOU to all the companies and individuals that donated the prizes.
