I replaced the fiber driveshaft discs today. Pretty easy job, but I can't find info on how tight the bolts should be.

Anyone know?

Tight enough to start squishing the rubber, but not to tight as to mash it. Make sure you either have one Nylock or 2 jam nuts in case someone changed them out on ya.

Thank you. Fortunately the lock nuts were still there. I tightened them to a bit of a crush and all bolts showing same amount exiting the nuts.

I had to replace the seal into the transmission and there was only one disc in the rear of the drive shaft.

All set now. No more leaks!

I would recommend all-metal locknuts (stover nuts) instead of nylock for that application. That is what they originally were. I have had nylock nuts back off before when used for this.

Yes, The Stover Nuts are there and were used. Although some might say you should only use Stover Nuts once.....I'm not one of them...
