I'm pulling the mag18 out of my 1811 and figured I might as well replace the engine mounting hardware (bolts/nuts). The parts manual doesn't show any washers for the engine mount bolts. Yet, my engine mount bolts have washers on the headside of the bolts. Can someone tell me if there is supposed to be washers there? Just to be specific I'm talking about the bolts for the engine-to-mounting plate, not mounting plate-to-frame. This engine has been removed before. Infact 1 out of the 4 spacers is actually a nut. Talk about shotty work. And 3 of the 4 nuts are the wrong type. I'd like to choke whoever did this work!
