Or if you want to look a little farther in the future weather wise...http://berry.edu/eaglecam/

In Rome GA the one chick hatched Valentines day, the other a day or so later.

PS Kraig, just to add to the seeing eagles thing. When I was living in StillH2O and working at Afton Alps I saw Golden eagles all the time and Balds a couple times a month, at the state park. I grew up on the Tri-lakes in (now) Lake Elmo and would see Bald eagles every other year on lake Demontraville. I walked the Arcola RR bridge once or twice but only saw gulls, and fortunately not trains.

Allan...
Any wind turbines around that area??
Upwards of 85,000 birds are killed by them damn things each year in Iowa, so heard on the radio last week

Dave, this happened along the Maryland coastline. I'm not aware of any turbines there, but also I'm almost 200 miles north and dont keep track of that area. Bummer about the bird kills.

Yeah, We got three of 'em just east of town now cluttering up the landscape, they went up last fall and from what I can gather, they are somhow taxpayer subsidized. I suspect the 1st thing that will likely happen after they are in operation is that they will hike the rates. Doubtful though, that any of the power generated will even be delivered in this area.

And, we have tons of eagles and hawks in this area. If I were to be out and about, I could see 'em every day, I'm sure.

Ahhh...Progress, Huh??.
