well working on restore of cub cadet 100 and when putting the pully nut back on i got it cross threaded and was a pain in the rear to get it back off, at any rate. I cant seem to find a replacement nut anywhere. does anyone have a source? it seems to be a 5/8 - 20 nut --- IH-1915172 Nut, Drive End Shaft

I would imagine any other Delco generator of that vintage would use the same nut. I googled "Delco Generator Nut" and found all kinds of results.

CoolKP: how is the shaft? Should you be shopping for a die to clean up the threads before you try the new nut from Digger?

Sorry for the delay. Not quite done yet.
Thought I had more, will have to ask son if he has any before pictures.
