I was plowing this weekend and the button to raise and lower the implement i have no idea how this works and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lock the button all the way down to float
or unlock it to select depth or height range desired.

The button that is in the top of the lift handle broke off.

Broke off or unscrewed itself and in missing?
Look down the center of the handle. Can you actually see where it is broken off,
or do y0u see the threaded rod where it screws on?
There should be a spring visible if so.
Of it is actually broken off you are pretty much screwed.
You will need to remove the whole assembly and cut the EL off the lower end, then you
should be able to remove what is left from the top end.
Should be a spring and a washer that comes out with the rod.
Is the lock ass'y operable and in the out position?

The top piece of the button broke off and the bottom half remains and I have no idea how to get it out.
