I just swapped in a new manual lift assy in my cub and it didn't have a handle grip on it I have the old assy with the grip but I don't know how to make the grip plyable enough to get it around the lock assy on the actual lift bar. I need help anyone who knows how to do this please help. Also should I just buy a new grip but even if i do I don't know how to make it plyable. ANything helps thanks

Hot water and or a blow dryer.
 
Any rubber part like that will benefit from warmth to get it installed, especially in the winter like this.
