Wood heat sorces.

1. cutting the tree up into small pices.
2. loading small pices of wood onto trailer/truck.
3. unloading said trailer/truck once home.
4. splitting the wood with maul/ax/woodsplitter.
5. stacking wood into ranks.
6. hauling wood into house to burn.
7. burnning the wood in the wood stove.
8. hauling wood ash out to the garden and spreading it out.
There is more heat in one face cord of wood than any other sorce of fuel cept maybe coal.

Lonny: You could add cutting the tree down to that list. Glad to see you included hauling out the ashes.
