Does the 129 have a separate snow blade attachment frame or does mower deck frame accept the blade?

You need the sub frame for the snow blade.
Make sure you get the one for the wide frame and not a narrow frame.
Part #14 on the attached picture.

Deck frame is specific to mower, the blade is frame is different I see what saying.

Lift rod is all you need if you have the blade and mounting parts.
Shoot us a picture of what you have.

So I don’t need another subframe for the blade just attach bladeto mule drive and hook up the lift linkage?

Do you have that?
And is your blade also what is pictured in that post?
The mule drive is nothing like the blade subframe and has nothing to do with a snow blade.
Again, a picture or two would help.
I gather you are trying to mount a Bolens blade to a Cub Cadet??

I have no clue as to how to mount a Bolens blade.
You are on your own with this one i'm afraid.

Bolens shouldn't be difficult to adapt, the blade usually had the standard A frame to mount the blade, then there were two struts angling up to the frame
They didn't change things much through the years

I was told earlier that I need the correct wide body sub frame to attach blade and a the lift linkage is this correct?

I bought this 129 running from a guy that used it to tow trailers in parades it came with the 42” three spindle deck and sub frame also the 42” Bolens dozer blade however no sub frame for the blade. So I’m encouraged that the Bolens will mount with the right parts and persuading. Thanks!

I looked around on the internet to find some pictures of a blade set up on a Bolens, but none were very good at showing the braces that angle up to the frame. The blade should push off the frame.
Bolens has two tabs cast into the bottom of the front axle, their braces (or subframe) mount to those on the front end and angle up to the frame on the back end. One might be tempted to just pin them to the cast ears on the front axle, but that wouldn't be a good idea
I believe the lift bracket on blade may be useable, but may need to have a gusset put on it due to the angle that the lift rod will be pulling, maybe.

From the looks of it, a CC subframe should be any easy conversion, or pattern for what could be made to work.
