, Yes, the rear tires are 6-12's

Paul-

That's a very nice looking 86. I like the smaller tires on this model. Good job!

Now, I'd like to know how you got the completed tractor down off of the jack stands. I'm assuming that's where you built it. Do you have an overhead hoist?...a lot of neighbors?

Bryce click on *CCPARTS LOOKUP* above , then search for 782 , then Attachments. QA42A single stage also works, especially if U speed up mod.

Hi I am still monkeying around with my kt 17 series 2 with the wrong crank specs. I have been chasing down the correct spec #.
I believe the 782 uses #52 014 66-s The kohler drawing shows a dim. of 2 55/64" I am assuming that is the dim from the mounting surface of the closure plate to the end of the shaft? My series 1 cub has a 3" distance between the plate and the end of the shaft. Can anyone verify that 52 014 66-s is correct for the 782 pto side Thanks John

Ken nice tractor did my offer on your h-42 prompt your purchase? It is an awesome combo. but way too early for snow

Paul,

The QA's don't show up in the Parts Lookup for a 782. I thought I read somewhere that there is a B version of the QA's to fit the *82's.

You have a 1450, 782, and QA42A. Does the QA42A fit both the 1450 and 782 without modification? I would think that you might have to change the drive pulley at least.

Also add the H-42 and H-48 as single stage snowthrowers for the 782.

Thanks for the info guys on the snowblower. And Mike I hope to have some pics up soon.

I used a jack to raise/lower the tractor, one end at a time, from the jackstands to the boxes the jackstands are on, and then there are ramps that fit between the boxes and ramps from the rear box to the garage floor. The boxes are a poor mans way to get a tractor up to a working height when you don't have a hydraulic lift table.

Ken F., nice find!

Paul R., Ken F., there was a QA36B that has curved upper links to allow for more clearance of the lower grill housing on the 82 series.

Chris R., nice line up.

Paul B., nice job on the 86!

Thanks for the complements on the 86 guys. First trip back to the Portland swap meet, and it will probably look a little different since it ALWAYS rains at Portland, and rain makes mud.......
