However, Discus always suggests that folks NOT bookmark specific topics. An upgrade or regeneration of the board can cause the "topic numbers" (ie, forum/messages/4/4.html...) to change, making your bookmarks broken.

I want thank the Bluniers and everyone that makes these great events. We made it back after unbelievable wind and a stuck front brake caliper. Talk about bad gas mileage. We now have Illinois dirt mixed in with our Ohio dirt and we still have alot of cleaning to do. Everyone that remembers Matt from our first Plowday at the Luckey farm in Indiana has watched a young man grow up with this hobby. To everyone that has helped or befriended Matt with his pursuit of the Gold Plated Cub, THANK YOU for your kindness and support. P.S. Art the Blower is in Ohio and I will send you the bill for the HERNIA operation!!! Father of the Tractor Monster!!

On the Cub Cadet models . . . . if you new anyone working for Scale Models you'd know why it's the 140 and Patios . . . . they bleed green! You're more likely to see at least a 214 and 430 WAAAY before you'll even see one Cub Cadet manufactured.

Sorry, guys.

It just was the start to a new day after running around all day Saturday. The 123 kicked right over after sitting for months.

I forgot about the fogging option on it though.

I guess it is time to fix that.

"Wheatland" is a term borrowed from the larger IH tractors. It refers to the standard tread, drawbar only versions of IH tractors from the 400 thru thru the 66 series. These tractors typically had swept or set back front axles, wider rear tires, industrial headlamps, large round full coverage fenders, and carried the name "International" not "Farmall" (Farmall was reserved for row-crops). These tractors were typically not sold in the midwest, as they do not make good row-crop machines and lack 3pt. hitches etc., and most came in "open station" (no cab) form. They were very popular in the wide open wheat fields of the west......coining the term "Wheatland".

Rained out today. Online time this morning and wrench time this afternoon. Came across some pix of the "Tiger" painted 71-123 series Cub Cadets from the IH archives. Anyone wanna' see 'em? Go to www.wisconsinhistry.org They have a cool 63" deck on a 782 also.

Hey Charlie,
Is that a rear weight bracket???? Sure looks like one to me.

I think that Weavers contributions are too much for the server.

And yes I have filled out a Permission Request Form to formally request permission for usage beyond personal use.

All of the recent diesel Cub posts got me fired up to buy one. Here's my new toy 1512D. It has a 50" deck and a 54" power angle snow plow. The little Kubota purrs like a kitten! Pictures below if anyone wants to see it. Just copy paste and add "www.". Geocities doesn't like linking conventionally. Please ignore the sloppy garage backdrop.
