Does anyone know if the ram on a front power blade have some kind of markings to show if it is original?

Thanx, guys. Carb settings would've slipped by me. He had the HS needle out 3 turns and the LS needle out 3.5 turns. Also, I'm thinking of having CARQUEST resurface at least this head and possibly more. Glad to know that that's the first step to finding out if the top of the block is true.
Almost looked at a 122 today but when I called the guy he was 55 miles away from it working on his camp roof. He'd called me about it awhile back and I've been agonizing about it - what if it has options? I liked his attitude from the first. I asked him what he had in mind for a price (after he told me his grandchildren had worn it out) and he told me $2000. I came right back with that's not bad at all for a completely restored 122. We'll see . . .. Another one isn't needed, but it'll probably follow me home. There's still a 147/loader sitting in a field 35 miles from here, too.

Just checking to see if anyone would happen to have any pics of an original padded cover for the metal pan seats. Fella making a few for me and would like them to at least resemble the originals. Thanks

Steve S., that one is very wrong, note there's no white piping and it's too light of a yellow. Here's one from a Parts and Accessories catalog.

I had one of those cheap ones but found a really nice one at Red Power Round Up back in 2009. It's still not 100% due to the location of the drawstring. The original one had the drawstring at the rear.

Note drawstring.

Sure wish I could get stuff at 1964 pricing...

BTW, CC Specialties sells what appears to be a very nice one and might even be the same as the one I have. Still has the drawstring at the front however, but that is not too big of a deal.

Kraig,

Nice seat pads.

Nopw, where can I find a few of those neat IH key fobs??

Kraig -- So I see...apparently some reproductions aren't as accurate as I thought!

Question on the trunion repair for the 149. I have Charlie's repair piece, I do not have a welder so I will have to either pull the piece off the hydro or have a mobile welder come by. What is the best way to go? TIA
