So what's he going to do with them?

I know they say that if you use pine needles on anything, it kills what ever they stay on for any length of time.
Just wondering if chewed up cones had the same affect.

It is fun to impress folks with these Cubs isn't it!!!

My friend didn't really have any use for them (or maybe he knows what Charlie was suggesting), so he passed them along to a neighbor. We'll have to do a follow up study after the neighbor uses them!

Kraig nice 102!!

I made a pseudo-59m using a genuine mackissic mill and chute coupled to a Gravely base that I reworked to approximate the cub mount. Mounting it on a 123 I have had good luck using it. I have learned what it will and won't do. It isn't really a chipper but it will violently bust up anything smaller than about 1". When fed too fast the material can "bridge" creating a touchy situation . It does a great job on bark and leaves though.

Kieth, Overlap your passes taking about 1/2 the width each time. This is usually what I have to do w/my 1650 in the spring when tilling gardens that have not been fall plowed.

I usually fall plow and then it makes for easy tilling in the spring, plus more seat time and an excuse to buy another attatchment!!
