Dennis F. Bill has two sheds with more Cub Cadets and attachments that I haven't seen. He wants the engine (12hp Quietline Kohler) and maybe a couple of other items (tires and rims) from the 1100. Then he said he may just drop it off at Colo. If he does then I'm thinking of an 18Hp single cylinder overhead valve Kohler and a three speed rearend from a Cub Cadet may be tried to be inserted into the 1100 frame and chassis. It may become a Plow Special tractor. Especially if I can come up with hydraulic lift for it.

( Angel thinks that I'm crazy for thinking about such a project.) He also has a 1250 that is nicely refurbished that he has a buyer for and a real nice 42" snowthrower to go with the 1250. The 70 came from me and although it would be nice to bring home again that pan seat is just too hard on these old bones.

Brian B. Great to hear that the 782 is running. you'll love it.

MARLIN - I hate to tell stories "out of school" on Dad, but He bought an 1100 years ago thinking it was spare parts for all the other CC's. When he got it home he wasn't happy since not much was interchangable with an IH CC. But the side panels did go to a forum member here years ago.. way down in Tennessee. And I got a set of wheel weights off it too.

But I "THINK", never done it myself, but if you started with a bare frame, the IH rearend would go in an 1100 frame, and if you had to drill holes... well, there's only six into the CC rearend.

I remember running my cousin's new 110 with the Peerless rearend & Variable Speed drive... I thought the variable speed was a nice toy for an under-powered tractor, think it had an 8 HP was all. But the years and usage hasn't been kind to those variable speeds... Or at least the other forum for that brand tends to make me think that.

Bill,I recieved your email,, thank you
also Kraig thank you

Frank, I can't feel to sorry. look at my 169 lift arm, that now has a plow hooked to it

Jeff B - boy I thought you knew better than that by now. That thing in the front is a "blade". And it's really quite easy to raise/lower using your manual lift. But you should still keep Frank's message in mind - every time you raise and lower your blade. Just think of him, probably having to use 2 hands on his manual lift to raise and lower the plow.

Bill J - I can put my finger on it for you. Your 1650 has the look/feel of a modern tractor but the ruggedness of an old iron unit. They just don't build'em like that any more.

Jeff/Harry/Frank,
Ever heard of a thing called a Spring Assist. Crank that baby down and lift it with ease.

Jeff B--Looking forward to meeting you at Buck Creek. Both your tractors are looking good and ready for work--One with a plow and one with a blade! Good stuff.

Brian B--Congrats on a job well done. I do agree with the others though, we need to see some more pix.

I want to give a BIG shout out to David Kirk. I stopped by his place last night to pick up some electrical parts for my 100. He is a really great guy and I got to see his 1250 in person. What a sharp machine! He gave me some good ideas for my tractors and I appreciate the advice.

Here is a couple of pix of the 100 ready to plow...

Sorry guys did not meen to confuse you all, The 169 now has a plow, the picture was last week before the snow blade removal. the picture was to show Frank I am still in manual lift mode on the 169.

Tom I am going to be looking to trade something for a spring assist.

Joshua, I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Harry, I know what yer zayin' about IHC nomenclature, but that ain't no blade when it's pushing snow... And I've never told anyone I was "blading snow" ....
