Place a large piece of cardboard on the floor so you won't scratch up the rim. Put a little dishwashing liquid on the lip of the tire (both sides). Make sure the rim is facing "outside- down". Then slide the tire onto the rim. You should be able to get the first side on just by using your hands. The final side may require the two screwdrivers. Don't use square shaft screwdrivers because they will put dents in the rim. The scratches (if any) will be on the inside, and you can easily touch them up with a tiny paint brush. Go EASY.
