Wayne, those were great pics of the kids. Of course, Graygirl will always be the matriarche and loner. I loved the pic of Barney sprawled across Millie, and sweet Lynda joining in the ranks of " togetherness".
Annie, Annie Annie. She is certainly one who hears the beat of a different drummer. She has discovered " shadows" in the house so everytime I am going to the bathroom, kitchen or going to do laundry, Annie is right there because she has it all figured out where the shadows will appear from, and she dances, leaps and tries, in quite a frensy to catch the shadows..or to dance with them, not sure which. lol.
Yesterday she fell off the long shelf on the 3 season porch. She didnt seem hurt at first, but as she came in the house and Marlin started giving her sympathy, she started to hurt terrible and seemd to be very injured..holding her right back leg up, then limping and in a constant roll of noise, either crying, hissing or growling. That went on for about an hour. She was limping around all day and she was noticable in pain. By last night she still had a little limp, but this morning she seems fine as she is back to dancing wiht the shadows. She is quite the drama queen when it comes to acting the part, so at times its hard to tell how badly she is hurt/or not hurt and just acting in a cameo role. hahaha. One thing is sure, she doesnt have a lot of tolerance for pain or discomfort, and I think that stems from when before we got her and I'm thinking she suffered somehow, which has left her kind of scar-ed.!!
Fancy has gotten huge. He must be around 18# now. When I was laid up with my eyes after surgery and not able to get outside, it didnt take a lot of time for the poundage to pile back on. We have been walking, but he needs to be on a serious diet, which I have him on. I heard from marlin that he had been leaving Tootsies food in the bathroom down and accessible to Fancy, so that is why he got so big. big sigh.
Heres a pic I took of Annie giving her dady some healing love the other day. her little paws so delicately placed on his hand..offering love and comfort.
(Marlin was off work for about 1 1/2 weeks due to a pulled muscle in his side, so the kitties were having to work overtime on doctoring and tending to nursing duties with him.
