I wonder if Steve Blunier and family had any storm damage from the terrific storms that hit that hit that area of Ill. today? Hope not!

I have just a little more work to do on the 149 before the snow flies, but I think I'll make it.

At least new tires are in order!
Chains are still ok.

I hope Bluniers are OK over there in the Peoria Area. Mom and Dad are in East Central ILL (Near Danville) and one of these damaging winds just missed them (by a few hundred yards). Dad watched it blow away a building less that a quarter mile from the house.... I hope all are ok in this storm system, it has covered a lot of the midwest and great lakes areas.

Charlie-

I really hate seeing that sort of stuff...heartbreaking! The picture shows how distorted the whole frame is including the hood.

That was one HOT fire.

Are you trying to salvage much???

Your attitude seems to be right in order.

(I'd probably still be crying)

SCOTT - I agree with you. Wife just showed me a pic on the computer of Steve B's area. Looked like a war zone, no trees or houses, just ruble and the water tower left standing over a half mile away.

Sure hope Steve & all his family are all O-K.

I can give you an update on the Bluniers. Both Big and Middle Steve's families are doing well and their homes did not receive any damage. They just have no power. The tornado went through Washington headed north between Metamora and Roanoke. It passed half mile west of Parson's(where the 04 tornado hit). When I talked to Steve this afternoon, he was heading to work to shut gas off to Washington and adjoining places hit by the tornado. Friends of Steve and Monica's lost their house in Washington and were staying with them as of now. Keep downstate in your prayers, unbelieveable damage when you see the pictures.

Geez, it seems like it was only a couple years ago Steve posted pics of the same type of thing going on.
I'll stick with our snow.
