Thanks for the info on the parts look up, I used this when I ordered my 982 parts. I liked the diagrams but would still like to see live pics due to I can't tell if the lift arm is above or below the axle.

thanks Matt

its close enough now to head to the plow field

I've just installed a NF Hydraulic unit on my 125. I'm noticing the ram extends much more slowly than it retracts. I know a two port cylinder, by it's nature, moves at a different speed in each direction, but this seems really slow; maybe 10-12 seconds to extend and about 1-2 to retract. Is this normal behavior on these units?

I traded some off topic parts for some 102 parts and found this on the K241:
LP Head

It was pretty well carboned and is somewhat pitted, surprising because the top of the piston is perfect. So, for my latest question, when running this type of head should we be more attentive to carbon build-up? Oh, and does LP stand for Liquid Petroleum?

Large ported? I`am sure Dennis F can answer that ?
lol
or you might believe this also ?
This cylinder head was manufactured by Kohler during the very early 1960s. It has a heart-shaped and wedge-contoured combustion chamber and is now known as the high compression, "LP head." The spark plug is centered in the combustion chamber. This particular head was originally made for and came on the very early 10hp (K241) engines.

LP head = head for engines that are run on propane. It's a bit higher compression than the other K241-K301 heads.

I think a lot of the 100s came with that head from the factory. I've had two 100s that had them.

I just got my starter generator rebuilt on my 126 and now it seems like every 5 times I shut off the tractor it won't shut off. It seems like the key switch is working but it stays a a very low rpm. If I tap my voltage regulator it will shut down. Has anyone ran into this problem?
