I got the 147 out to do some work around the yard. It's no skidloader but it doesn't rip up the grass like one either.

Had planned on this weekend, Stupid storm knocked down tree and muffler went Straight to the back burner.

Jason, I hope you have the curved pipe and jam nut to mount the muffler. Do not forget the jam nut on the pipe. Scott has a 1450 that the PO didn’t re install the nut, with the vibration from the engine and the weight of the muffler the exhaust port on the block wobbled out. He had to have an adaptor plate made to mount the exhaust casting. Don’t get confused 149 has a pipe 1450 has a casting but they both screw into the block and are held in place with the jam nut.

Hello all. I am new to this ih cub stuff. I just got a 102 to get working. I got it started but it sounds really loud. All of has on it for a muffler is old iron threaded pipe and a round muffler that puts the exhaust out right in from of the carb.I am just looking to see if in fact this is the correct muffler and placment of it.}

Your 102 should have a muffler that looks like this one.

Happy Monday and a BIG WELCOME to all the new members.

Got a little more done on the project Original for a friend's child. For a three day weekend I had to rest my legs on Saturday from being on concrete all day long now. I did not realize that turning 64 last year how much I've slowed down. I can't post pictures until it's been delivered. Hopefully within two weekends.

Getting Clarence fired up again will be the next project. Just can't seem to get the replacement engine adjusted governor-wise. Going to try another carburetor since the one on it has sever linkage slop.
