Are the 149s considered rare or hard to find? How long will a leaky head gaskett last I have to pull kids around all day on june 12th can I replace it after that or should I do it now?

James - About the solenoid maybe draining your battery , NIX that idea ... and Matt

shame on you.

If the ignition switch is good then there will be NO PATH for the voltage to follow.
Corrosion on the back of the switch could be bleeding it off and a filthy battery can too although you said it had a new battery. In either case though it would take a few days to do since it would only be bleeding off in milliamps. Probably more like a few weeks since it takes 1000 milliamps to make one amp and I think it would show it's self if it were that high of drain.
I'm a thinkin' that it may be the PTO switch but check the ignition switch first like Matt said, pull the plug.

Lucas - What ya gonna pull bubba without full compression ?? How many people around you have asthma ?? You gonna carry a five gallon bucket of engine oil with ya ??
Do you really want to repersent <FONT COLOR="ff0000">I</FONT><FONT COLOR="000000">H</FONT> Cub Cadets that way ?
