Chris - Somewhere I have a pic of Dan's restored 122 and I can't find it

You wont find a better looking 122 anywhere!
This is the best I can find for now. It's the fiberglass pan not the rubber one that was on a 122.

I just noticed - the Cub Cadet sponsor button above is a 122 pic.

Tom , Thats one fine looking red tractor. Wish i had one with a loader, backhoe.what size deisel?
and could i ask what one should pay for a red tractor like that. There is a cub in the paper up here that a guy has listed in good shape and the asking price is 1500.00. It seems you guys have better prices on tractors.

Chris B.,
Although the fiberglass seat pan may be original, personally I wouldn't put one on. Why? Well, my 125 also had one. One day my friend thought he'd help out and came up from behind and help push it up onto my trailer and the seat fasteners snapped clean out of the fiberglass - breaking the seat off the tractor! I'd recommend staying with a steel framed seat...
Yeah, I don't care for the looks of the white seat either, but you can pick up a black seat covers that has a string tie it keep it on, they don't look too bad......

John L.,
That sure is one SWEET-LOOKING Cubbie you have there! How about sharing some more pics of it; the RH side, the front view, etc.

What is the bar in front of the front tires - is that a weight rack of some sort?

Are your rear fender reflectors some non-OEM units - they appear larger than OEM reflectors?

Thanks again for sharing that PRETTY CUB!

Craig E., I looked at that throttle on the parts 149 and if the throttle on your 129 is the same as on my 149 I think all you'll need is the 3/8" or 7"16" wrench, no screw driver. My 125s all use the phillips screw driver to adjust the tension thus my mention of it...... In any case you should be able to adjust the tension so it will stay at WOT.

That bar on the front of the 122 is my spoiler (like NASCAR racers) or push bar to push charlie out of the way!

Just kidding, I made that for leveling raised bed ridges which I plant my sweetcorn on. BTW, I planted these rows of corn with that same 122 last night too.

Hey guys, How come every time I post a photo of my 122, someone posts a photo of Dan's 122?

Want to make mine look bad?

Oh well, Mine gets used...
Here's another shot of the other side as per request.

Mine doesn't have the proper seat attached although I have one. The rear reflectors are some I found at a bicycle repair shop scrap barrel. I tried to restore the original reflectors and had them plated but they didn't turn out good. Now you can buy new ones from a guy that still makes them and he attends Little G. Also my 122 does not have the front headlights, but I have a $200 set to install on my 122 that is in the process of restoration. It will be nicer looking than this one if I ever get it finished.

John, no, your 122 looks great! It's just that the question of the seat comes up and Dan's has a stock seat. BTW, Dan's 122 gets used too, I used it as PD1 to try out his mid mount grader blade.

John - If it makes you feel any better, Dan's Cub isn't "correct" if ya think about it.

Someday my 122 wants to grow up to look like Dan's ;)
