HELP! need the belt length for newer model 59m shredder. the one with the Tensioner. the IH-#62-379-C1 doesn't give a length. I know the other one is 30" #55-053-C1 ½ x 30”. Thanks!
 
Jim, Thank you I know, I just bought 5 of them from him. I miss counted. I've got a piece of steel so I'm going to make one because those wheels are needed for depth control.
 
John B: make sure you get Lawn & Garden belts! The "Vee" angle is very different than automotive or utility belts. Automotive, uilility, or any other NON-Lawn&Garden belts only last about a few minutes before they start slipping or being thrown off. Read & HEED!

Hey all...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have the full TC-113 parts book, revised in 1991, digitized in PDF format.

I also have it broken down by section.

I have sent these over to Charlie for addition to the manuals website however in the meantime, if anyone wants a parts list section feel free to send me an email and I'll be glad to fill the void until Charlie has time to get them uploaded.

My way of saying thank you to everyone here whose helped me along =)
 
Drive line question. I'm going to upgrade the 169 to a QL series drive line, I looked up parts for 1650, are there better ones to use than these as in heavier duty.
 
Brian E - Isn't the TC-113 the Parts Book for all the attachments (mowing decks, snow throwers, tillers, etc)????

Also, how ya doing on your points and timing? When you line up the "S" or "SP" flywheel mark in your shroud site hole your points should just begin to open or be open.

Doug B - I believe there something in Charlie's FAQ's (linked in the Forum FAQ's above) about beefier drivelines. In fact I just looked and it's Charlie's FAQ #25.
 
@Harry: TC-113 is the parts manual for all tractors with SN's under 400,000

There are other individual parts books for all the attachments but I've not come across those as of yet

Harry B. thanks for the link, but at this point I'm just wondering if there are certain stock parts like flex couplers, flanges etc that are better than others to use.
 
Does the CV driveline from a cyclops fit in a 169? That is the route I would go for strength and luxury.
 
Well this is why I buy parts when I can. I'm definitely a redneck and dangerous. Getter done... I was lol at myself for doing this but it worked pretty good.

Not sure how many there are total as I've never seen the index page...

Been trying to amass these as well to kick them to Charlie
 
@Harry: Forgot to answer your follow up.

Parts come tomorrow... I'll get the new pusher in and give it another go...

The flywheel is already marked so it's just a matter of getting the points to move during manual rotation so I can verify the timing...

Then from there, address the throttle/gov/etc

Yes, but the ends are welded to the shaft, and it may take a special drive plate for the engine end. I've read that without much work the welds can be turned down and shaft made a custom length. One item to watch for is the hydro end. CCC used both 5/8" pinned shafts and splined shafts on the input lf the hydros in this era. Its a fairly popular mod amongst the diesel crowd.
