That helps Ken, I see the drive is on the other side from the Bolens but I dont think that will be a problem.

Brendan-
I don't have that Haban anymore, but like Ken pictured, it basically attached to the tractor just like a snowblower. QA hookup to the front of the tractor with a belt to a 90deg gearbox like a snowblower.

Kinda what I thought. Thought about raping one of my snow blowers for the mounts. Got one thats in pretty bad shape so it wont hurt if I strip it.

Digger:

O.K., I recieved my Cermax in mail today. The label says to put it in the gas. Did I buy the wrong stuff??? I bought it for my originals, and thought I heard somewhere that you change the oil, and add to oil.

Help!!!

Help.........New old guy here and former member. I tried to get my mower going, its a 100 with K241. No spark at all. I have replaced the points, plug, the coil and the condensor. I checked continuity between points and neg side of coil good. Also cont between the pos side of coil and switch. Also tested the switch for cont from blue wire on VR to pos side of coil. I am befudled help as the grass is growing fast here in W PA

Matt:

How about the Coil Wire itself? Souns to me just about the only possibility left.

Hey Guys newbie here. Question is I am installing a #2 tiller on a 782 and I am having trouble finding a replacement pulley on the gearbox for the 5/8 belt. Can any one help? So far I have found a Dodge hub Pulley that I can turn the ID out to the old pully hub after turning the spokes off and press fit and pin then have it welded. It would be a lot easier just to fine a pulley with extended hub. I did searches and and FAQ but can't find anything except it needs changed to the 5/8 belt
Thanks
Chad

yep checked the coil wire too Its got to be something simple. It ran rough last year towards the end of the season parked it for the winter and low and behold

Matt Foley...You've said "continuity" several times and I do not question your findings. However, go back and check each one of those places you checked for continuity for voltage instead. At some point you will lose voltage and there is your problem. If there is none, I'd start by replacing the ground cable and get a new one slightly longer and put the chassis ground on the S/G mount. Get away from that IH chassis ground at the pedestal. The original ground paths on these older Cub Cadets generally have too much impedance from corrosion, rust etc., to work.
