You know,
Sometimes you just have to scratch your head and wonder WTH someone was thinking by adding epoxy to a freakin plug wire!

And the sad part is, it took me 30 minutes to find it after another 30 minutes of wondering why the 1450 ran like crap.

Ok i got what may be a tough question. my 1970 cubcadet 107 are the correct paint colors # 902 white and IH federal yellow paint? And wear is a good place to buy it?

Should i use the red locktight on the set screws on the starter pulley (front pto pulley)? I don't want them backing out again.

Eric T.
I wouldn't if it were me.
With a good key/keyway and good set screws, there's no reason that they should back out.

Where can i pick up a new snap ring for the pto and bearing? Okay is the snap ring supposed to go over the bearing, i can turn snap ring some but not much. and if someone could send directions for rebuilding pto, i am trying to get a headstart for when kit gets here, i want to have the bearing already mated to pto.

So, Charlie, just to be sure I understand - you're saying that an epoxy patch is NOT the best course of action for a bad plug wire?

Not when it shoots fire out the side onto the top of the engine!

It makes for a weak spark at the plug too!
