From the information i read. When people would trade the original in some did not want to pay to have a new deck installed so they would remove the deck from the Original and install it on the new 70 or 100. I read that along time ago in a cub book. But yes there are a few 70/100 cub cadets out there with the square timed mowing deck installed. I think i will give the IH-473462 3/8 81" belt a try. Thank you for the help!

Well that does make sense. I heard about it happening later in the different series so putting a timed deck on a 70/100 is perfectly logical.
I hope the belt works out ok!

Kraig -

To help Daniel Z and to remind me are you able to post the kit document that adapts the 2-spindle rotary mower to the 70? I remember the specific sheet. It tells what would need to be ordered and what could be reused from the old mule drive...

Hey Charlie,

Is there anyway we can convince you to increase the max photo size to even 200KB? It took me 30mins to resize photos for my post in the CCC threads. the cameras we all use are capable of such high resolution, (even iphones) it makes it really hard to get them down small enough and still be able to see stuff.

800x600 is fine, but that still leaves them at around 250KB when compressed.

Any thoughts?

Nic, I just e-mail 'em to myself and shrink the size that way before I hit send. Then copy them from the e-mail back to the picture folder.
Easiest way I've found.

I have software, it just takes awhile. For instance, I had one that showed 97.8KB by the properties, but the site refused to upload it. I had to take it down a few more pixels...

I just think a 100KB MAX in photos is unrealistic. In fact, it is the main reason I don't upload many pics. Especially when our beloved Kraig can upload high res photos whenever he wants.

Other sites I'm on automatically resize the photos during the upload process. I can load 250MB photos into that site and it automatically adjust it to the requirements.

I absolutely love this site and everyone it, and I'm happy to contribute to its continuation. I get the photo size uses both bandwidth and storage space. But when the camera on my iPhone is nearly as good as my DSLR. 100KB is unreasonable. that's 1/10 of 1MB. My profile probably uses more space than that.

Love you Charlie! And thanks for all the great gaskets that will be going in the parts in the posts I made with said photos.

Craig, Daniel Z., interestingly it doesn't list a belt number.

I remember my pre moderator days when I struggled to get images small enough to post. I would use several different programs to resize stuff. One program didn't always do the job with satisfying results. Yes I'm spoiled now. I do have to be careful to try to keep stuff to a reasonable size. Some things need more detail, like the document I just posted so I tend to up the size a bit on them. I try to keep things to 700 pixels wide or less. I also crop most photos to make the subject larger.

Nic,

I believe Charlie turned me onto VuePrint for resizing my pics. Works great!

Have you tried it? It is free to download.
