So thats what the friction discs were for. That makes sense for those of us who take the blades off and re-sharpen them regularly. I usually sharpen my blade twice a year,it doesnt take much though and I can usually file my blades then balance them. I always balance my blades and always will....
 
Ok,so Here's a question for you all. Do you need to change those friction discs out every few years or are they always good ?
 
They are good till they wear out.

There were only 3 or 4 comments on the new thread thing, so it kinda got dropped.
Course the enthusiasm level on here seems to be at an all time low.
