Too bad IH didn't put the cross brace on the engine cradle from the beginning. If t hey had most of the original ISO rubbers would still be good and the Quietline reputation would be better.

Craig - Oh Great One Keeper of the Photos - hey thanks for posting that brochure. I have seen that one before but it still doesn't identify this series with a specific name that I see. The one thing that ALWAYS bothered me was the IH statement "The new top-of-the-line model is the most powerful Cub Cadet ever". DAH, what happened to the 169? Did Kohler produce some spec charts showing the K341AQS as being more powerful than the K341A?

John B - that sure is a nice looking 100. The tires look fine to me. I'd just clean them up with wheel cleaner and some tire shine - they'll look like new and be good another 40-50 years.

Richard C., how true...

Hydro, I recently searched through the various brochures that I have specifically looking for any mention of "Quiet Line" I never found any official use of that reference...

The 1650 is more modern and more powerful than those old fashioned 169 type tractors and quieter too. Must have been why they made so many 1650's and so few 169's....
