Some thoughts on rebuilding a wiring harness, I never use the old connectors, they are old and brittle and the metal parts don't have the tension they had originally. You can get new ones from Kohler or small engine repair stores and probably from NAPA.

When you rebuild your harness it is a good time to replace your switches too, I know they are expensive but when you get done you will have many years of good service andy you won't be chasing problems.

just my .02 cents.

I have a tiller that I have used on my 129. I would like to sell it and have someone with a 982 wondering if it would fit? can someone answer the question please??
Thanks, Jim

Scott T. I would LOVE for my wife to have her own Cub! She used to mow the lawn when we first got engaged and somehow got a huge chunk of concrete wedged up between the main blade and the mower deck and then said something along the lines of I "think" I hit something and now the tractor wont mow. I couldnt for the life of me get the blade off and had to use a BFH to get out the "chunk". I told her after I got it out that she could no longer mow with the 106. It seems like everytime she did, she did something to the 106. I also like mowing too much for her to ever get a chance to mow! I know my duaghter would like her own, and someday I will pick up a 70 for her!

James M. I have a 38" deck on Clarence (102) with the guage wheel brackets cut off by some PO.

These are the cast iron brackets. Clarence has the 23X8.50x12 tires and that is the only way someone prior thought would make the mower fit their tractor. The deck came from a 70 with narrow tires (6x12)

. Go figure. I'd try and find either a good set of narrow tires or another 42 inch deck.

Trying to level the deck on my Cub 71. I checked the FAQ, but the one on deck leveling seems to start out with the assumption I have an owners manual, which I don't. Can anyone help me with some instructions or refer me to somewhere I can buy a manual?

Scott R.
Well you could click the link to Binder books above to get a hard copy, Which is a VERY good idea. Or you could scroll down the page a bit where I posted the link to download a manual.
6 of one and a half dozen of the other I spose.
