Jeff, that's a big IF. About now I'm thinking they would make nice pelts. I put up trail cameras to get photos of deer and all I seem to be getting are photos of coyotes.

Kraig,

That's probably why you are not getting any deer pics. Coyotes love to eat deer, especially new borns. They also love to eat cats, dogs, and any other smaller animal. If given the chance, they could prey on small children too.

Marty, yep! Thus my "pelt" comment. In Wisconsin the coyote season is open 24/7. I need to get out there and hunt them...

Kraig,
Quite the pack. I count a six pack in the one pic. Pretty cool to catch them in their natural environment.

Jeff,
Let us know how the domestication thing goes. Maybe if you can catch one as a pup........

Charlie, nice wolf rug! These coyotes would be more like door mat size.

This year is the most coyotes I have ever seen at the farm. Over the years there have been random sightings of one here and there. Last year on a few occasions I started seeing two at a time. I guess they've been busy...

Recently a neighbor mentioned that he had 6 raccoons eating at his back door where he ussually feeds the cats. I know they have been at my eatery recently, but after dark. Well, recently they must have been real hungry as the whole family came over in the afternoon, mom, pop, and 4 youngsters. Managed to get one photo of them. Charlie, need any Daniel Boone hats ?
