Kentuck-

I remember seeing that lift pole before. I'm trying to figure a way to rig one on a sleeve hitch to use for engine pulling. That's all I need and it's a pain to have to get Claude (big tractor) out just to pull an engine. Plus the power steering is out so he's a bear to steer in tight places.

Hope everyone had a good and safe 4th! We were rained out around here so we have it to go through again tonight.

Wayne - A sleeve hitch mounted one wouldn't be a problem to build. I just looked at Marty's pic (below , if you have the adapter) and seen how to do it BUT without hydraulics you'll have to use the boom jack.

WAYNE - I pulled the K321 out of my CC 72 Saturday. I used to pull them by hand but I didn't need the engine ALL the way out, just raised high enough to get the clutch/driveshaft out. I parked the 72 under the end of the lift arm of the loader on the '51 M and winched the engine up with a come-a-long.

The big Kohlers really aren't THAT heavy, book weight is 125#.

Ohhhh and to emphasize a conversation we had here several months ago, I never removed the hood OR grill casting on the 72 and had the rearend out one day and the engine out the next day. Had a loose 1st/reverse shift fork in the tranny and a totally trashed throw-out bearing to replace. And while I was there I went back to the stock clutch pressure spring and stock throw-out clutch lever from the RED die spring and elongated t/o lever. Clutch works SO much better now.

Marty A. Gwin, WOW, I'm loving that light! Any numbers on it? I've never seen one like that. And that mount is perfect!

Here you go Charlie! Find some of these.. you got everything else that's cool! LOL..

Mike they still make lights similar to those, years ago I put one in the middle of a light bar on a truck. Had it wired into the truck to go from red to white.
Dennis, you've been busy.

Dennis (Kraig): that is too cool. How about we go with neon lights? What would you think of a Cub Cadet low-rider?

Forgive me, I'm just riffing on the concept.
