Very nice set of cubs Don T.
As always Molsons make it in the photo.
Kraig,
Nice lineup on the mule drives.
hee haww

Donald,
Nice cubs!
You've gotta get one of those combination tail light assemblies with the red jewel lens and rotary switch, they are a lot nicer than the standard grote light! I haven't seen one on a cub other than mine. The original owner installed it when he purchased the "O" new.

Brandon,
Thanks for the compliment.
I hope you don't ride that 104 very much. I bet it would be rough on the buns!

Donald: I'll be happy if the "after" shots of my 782 and 149 look as good as the "before" shots of your tractors. They look fine to me as they are now!

Don T your tractors look good to me. I have had my O apart, cleaned, and primed about four years now. My 100 needs some work then painted. Maybee i will get back at cubs this fall. I am going to have to move some motorcycles out of my shop.

Thanks for the comments guys . buying a Nomad MC is cutting in on my Cub time now and this fall I will get back on track.I ordered a colour tune spark plug last week and wonder if you all have ever used one.I ordered a few adapters so it will fit in my Cubs . The Mc will be first to use it to set the carb and then my Cubs. I have hopes it will work great. hopefully Denny can add some thought here on the colour tune plug.

Luther,
I know what you mean, I am trying to figure out what to do with this so I will have room for the new addition coming home Thursday.

Keeping it on topic, make sure they are surrounded by yellow and white!

DONALD - Your on your own with that color tune spark plug thing. I've never even seen one.

MARTY G. - I have one of those combination rear work/tail lights on EACH of my old FARMALL's, the one on the Super H is the factory installed light. The one on the '51 M was MIA so a new one was ordered from here, LINK

They aren't a supplier to this site but so far I've been happy with the stuff I got for my FARMALL's from them.

Note the price, some people buy whole running CC's for less than they get for that light.

DAD was never much for keeping lights working on tractors. We never did field work at night, once chores were done it was time to come in. But there were a few times we finished chores in the dark. My local Case/IH dealer that Charlie knows fixed me up with everything besides that light I needed. THAT was an expensive day, spent almost $500 on parts plus $200 on wheel weights, hardware, and paint for the weights. Funny thing, $200 for CC weights maybe gets you 100 pounds of iron, SON & I threw 900 pounds of iron in the back of my truck!

Dennis,
Wonder why there weren't many of these lights installed on cub cadets?
I'm glad my light was purchased in 1962!

Marty A. Gwin

I see V&H pipes and a hyper charger lol. Heres mine ,Denny the colour tune spark plug should be here this week,I want to see what the carb is set at .since you can see the plug fire it should make adjustments real easy ( I hope).

MARTY - I guess people aren't supposed to mow, blow/push snow, etc after dark where they might need a combination white work light and red tail light. That combo light was never even listed in the CC parts & accessory catalog that I can remember, it IS a nice addition.

My CC 70 has NO lights right now, well, it DOES, but they're still in the bag waiting to be installed. The 72 & 982 both have plenty of lights and the white rear work lights are on separate switches. I've been known to mow quite late into the night at times.... like till 2 AM. The 982 even has flood lights mounted under the foot rests so I can see the ends of the mower deck to trim at night.

I'm looking at a 127 with a tiller.
Not sure if the 127 is worth anything but a parts tractor. I've always thought everything on a 127 will work on a 107, is that true?

Got The mower on. What paint I want to do this year is done. Next is the snow thrower. I hope I have a few months yet.

I found this to be a worry free way to move the hydros around the yard. This is my 1250 that just needs some maintenence like the pump gasket, carb adjustment, front tire leak fixed, and the trunion work at the pump. It has needed this done for a spell leaving a nice big wet spot in the barn. I've been using it for about two years now for mowing. Everything is still tight and sound like the iso mounts. I did the rail upgrade when I put this one together. I didn't know about the pump gasket condition and took a gamble....and lost.

You can see in the second pic how I wedged a piece of wood between the frame sides which kept it from squeezing too much and maybe bending something. I also used a rope and tied the steering wheel to keep it pulling straight. This is the end result of two 1250s that came along about the same time. One had a great engine and a rough body and the other was the opposite. I was able to get it pretty close to original with the correct muffler, etc. and other than being a little jumpy worked and cut very well.

Wayne - 'round here we use yeller'n white for wrecker service.

Dennis: I would like to see pictures of how you have the lights set up on your 982. I like to mow late at night too, at least as late as the neighbors will let me . . .

Ken: I like your boom hoist. I'm assuming you made it yourself, do you have a write-up on it anywhere?
