Mike that's a load! Thanks for the warm weather pic! Now I just need that pot of gold, gotta find a rainbow....

I'll stand by my V61's.......absolute best compromise Tire for all around use, safe on turf mowing, great in dirt, good in snow, look great on 6.50 and 8.50 rims.

Deestone 4x8 are great for the old narrow rims, and I use them on my custom implements......

Charlie,

Do you have any pics of those Firestones looking straight at them from the front?

Mike P,

Have you forgot? These are "garden" tractors!

Marty,

Just look at my profile pic......18x8.50 V61's on my diesel.

Charlie P. Did I read correctly that you put the Firestones on a narrow rim?

Just went out to start the Dakota and warm it up. It's still raining and the ice is too thick to just scrap off the windows. It's going to be interesting driving to work this morning. Everyone have a SAFE and wonderful day.

Both look GREAT, to me anyway,,,
I couldn't imagine anyone being critical of either tractor,
I guess tires are just a personal preference thing, which good arguments and reasons have been stated for both setups,,,

Personally, I think the V's on the 100 look better than the Firestone's.
It make it look like a tough little tank!

Marlin,

Are you with me that those MAY NOT be Firestone 16-6.50-8's on narrow rims on the front of that 169?

I just don't want the

for questioning them!
