Earl,

Lever slot was radiused to allow it to slide past the stop. It functions exactly like the dash lever, you can still use the dash lever too. There is no "dead man", just stop the "clutch" and it recenters like the lever does.

That is a nice loader Kraig, how is the onan holding out?
There was one here for sale locally for 600.00 with no loader, but a front blade and the 3 point were still on there.

Steve, that's what I meant, really cool!!
Lew, my buddy got his last year for less than that one, 415 hours on it! Po's bought new and spent most of their time in Europe somewhere. Nice rig honestly, he's got a 60 inch belly mower, and plenty of power in that Onan!

Lewis, so far it still runs, or did the last time I started it, which was a while ago.

This Spring I need to drain the old gas out of the tank and get some fresh gas into it. It needs a new battery as well. Then I think I'm going to sell it. I don't really need it and I hate to see it just setting.

The handles are Zinc Plated with an improved version of nickel–cadmium with chromium additives.
Which in theory and on paper is supposed to far exceed a chromed or simple zinc coating.

SOME if not all handles that came from the factory had a chrome or polished zinc finish.

The handles that were sold after the fact where an unpolished zinc.

I've actually got a few NOS with old IH part number stickers that are painted a semi gloss black.

Well crap!
Don't look like I will be moving the 100 to the basement today.

Marlin,
What anyone does with their cub is fine with me.
I have seen so many 100s modified in so many ways.
My personal preference is for them to look like they did in their original glory.
I guess it's because they (O/70/100)are over 50 years old and they are hard to find now days.
It's kind of like taking a 55'Chevy and making a rat rod out of it.

If you like my "ugly duckling," wait till you see it when I finish!
Here is what the 100 looks like today:

Not much better out the front door either.
