Does anyone know how thick those heat isolator carb gaskets are. I had to use a regular thin one on my 104 a while back. I couldn't find one at the time .
 
On the balance gear info I think if you have the spec number that the Kohler engines web site parts
diagram would tell the story.

They are 3/16" thick.

You must not do much with your 149. If you are mowing at that low of a throttle setting, you are probably overheating it, whether you are aware or not.
 
Digger ... thanks for the info ,what I meant was I couldn't find one at the shop I was at. I know you carry them but I couldn't wait to order it , I was in a big hurry to get it back up and runnin. That's all it was..thanks again
