I think Charlie at CC specialties has a good muffler with welded seams . there are cheaper mufflers for sale but don`t measure up for quality like his does. do it right the first time. later Don T

Matt G, The screen looked like the entire engine under the sheetmetal...dirty,

So I did clean it up but in the process of cleaning up the connections and such for the ignition I broke the condensor wire which was hanging by a thread anyway. Will any condensor work or do I need a special one for it?

Jeff D., Roland is correct. When I compared the gear box input shafts using the Cub Cadet Parts Lookup, I found they have different part numbers. The output shafts also have different numbers. Not sure if the difference is in the length or???? Perhaps you could put an add in the classifieds for a trade, there might be someone out there with a QA36/QA42 gearbox that is looking for a BB36 gear box.

I'm working on adding power angle to my 54" blade. I got a lift cylinder to use, but need to fab up brackets(once it gets warm outside). From a picture posted here of an original set up, it looks to be just a lift cylinder? I can't see IH making something else when this would work?

Guess we need someone to look in the parts book and see what it calls for(is it the same part no.)

Larry, Kent, Don, I believe the question of "is the hydraulic angle cylinder the same as a 1x9 hydraulic lift cylinder?" came up a short time ago and I believe the answer came from Charlie and was something like "the hydraulic angle cylinder is much heavier duty." Please don't quote me on that.

A forum search might find it if you use the key words: cylinder angle and choose "and" in place of "or" and limit the search to 90 days or so. Hope this helps.

I would think that a blade angle cylinder would need to be pretty stout to withstand "ramming speed"
