Charlie,

Thanks for the help, but I have already looked at the 782 parts look up and have seen that a 450 is listed. Did not notice the spelling mistake on Haban until you mentioned it.

Also looked at the 451 parts look up and compared the two different models per parts. They seem exactly the same from the drawings but maybe there are some different brackets between a garden tractor and a super(982)? It is mounted on a 1864 (sorry) model right now.

I've also looked at both PDF manuals and did not see anything too different there as well. The only thing I gathered from them was the 451 seems to be more specific to the garden tractors and you can get a kit for a super. The 450 model seems more specific to the supers and you could get a kit to fit it on the regular garden tractors, along with some different bracketing between the QA and the blower frame.

Do you or anyone else on here know what is changed on the 451 from the 450? Maybe they just did't mention it fitting on the 82 series cubs because to them, they were out dated?

Charlie,
I stand corrected, I was putting on my "blade". lol

Michael Glenn,
The tires on my 1250 are Carlisle both front and rear. The fronts are "X Trac" 16x6.50x8, and the rears are "All Trail" 23x8.00x12. The fronts I had put on at the tire store because my tire changer will not do a 8" wheel. The rears I mounted myself and the only problem I had was I had to put a strap around the tire to bulge it out to the rim seats. Other than that the fit with no problems and work great summer and winter.

the 451 have and take a different belt and I think the front gearbox is a different speed. Its a bit of work to change a 450 to a 451.I think there are brackets you can buy for a 450 to mount it on a super .Have a look at the manual on the main page under a 450 and you will see the kit to mount it on a super. A 450 will mount on a ql with no problems.

Don,

The belt is the same profile and size between the two models. I didn't find enough information about the gear box driving the auger, but a second look at the parts look up shows the gear box behind the fan has different ratio's, the belt sheaves are the same.

Oh Crap!
Little Donnie Tanner showed up with his off topic snow blower stuff.
And here I thought we had shuffled him off to the CCC/MTD section for a while.

We're all DOOMED!

We're supposed to get snow tomorrow and I still haven't switched any of the Cubs to snow removal mode...

I guess I'll be using the walk-behind again.

Charlie - my wife & my kids & grandkids would agree with yer, otherwise life would be dull.
Rod - IH Cub Cadets very rare, I have only seen 1 other than mine advertised in Australia (think it might have been a 122, & a rough one at that)but there must be a few more. No apparent chance of driving home with 2 or 3 in my Trailer. There are, I think, 3 in NZ. My (MTD) 1720 Hydro is the only one I have seen (or heard of) of that vintage. Recent years MTD are more active.

Did you have your 102 shipped down or were a few sold new in your area? What about larger I.H. tractors and trucks, are they around? Wish I was able to get a CC 'O' shipped to you!
