I guess it is just on this side of the border ;

Charlie,
I've seen many PAM clocks but not like that. I'm thinking it's a repo, cause why would IH make a clock with the older version logo and the NEW and IMPROVED Cub Caddet on it.

Charlie-
That's a neat clock. I agree with the guesses about it being a "repop", but still pretty cool.

Steve-
I'm guessing we'll see that picture again sometime. Ludicrous...

Can someone tell me more about a red Cub Cadet 482?
Pictures would be nice. (Kraig) Thanks.

Shultzie,
From what my books tell me it's pretty much a newer version of the 1100. It keeps the 11hp. Briggs and the Peerless 4 speed trans.

Shultzie,
Just for info, it is my understanding that the 11 HP B&S engine, and most engine parts, are no longer available. Could be kinda hard to rebuild one if it needs it.

ART - I really liked the sparks coming off the tires... even the front tires!

Made some sparks myself this AM. Only deep snow I had was right in front of the wife's garage, and up by the road where the snow plow always piles it when it goes by. It was almost hard enough for me to walk on top of but not near hard enough to drive over. Plus the little bit of melting on the bottom iced the concrete up and made the bottom hard and crusty. I was sure missing the added weight of the fluid I used to have on the rear of the Super H.

Took the wife to work over on the west side of Madison this AM. I-90/94 & the Beltline are in real good shape. The city streets are packed with 3-4 inches of snow & ice and rough as a corn cob. Rural and country roads are the same with a few drifts every once in a while.

Denny, Art.....that's the added "Back to the Future" look

(You made a time machine, out of a Cub Cadet??????....1.21 Giga Horsepower....)

Had about 2" here, mostly crusty frozen slush....I'll hit it with the blade this PM to clean it up.........

I'm sure glad I have more that 2 cubs!! Only problem is if we gat more snow I'm gonna run out of 'em before I get the 1st 2 fixed!!

The 1650 has thrower problems and I think the clutch and or rag joints going out of the 1200. I did get the ISO mount bold back in tho, what a PITA job that is. Sure glad I got heat in the shop and didn't have Ta tackle that w/cold fingers!!!

I think we woind up with around 12" here where I'm at

I have a line on a snowblower attachment that is called an International Danco. I am guessing that this machine was made by Danco for International Harvester.

Can anyone tell me what Cub Cadet this might fit? Will it have the QA-36 or QA-42 model number?

I think I need an QA-36A or QA-42A to fit my Quietline. Is this correct?

I am going to look at the machine today, and it does look to be in reasonable condition. Is there anything specific that I should look for or check? I think the price is fair.

Thank you in advance.

Friday afternoon (and we're still here!) and the snow storm has passed through--- in SE MI we ended up with mostly rain, then some snow on the grass.

At least some got to play in it, thankful for that much at least.

Brian, I believe all the early snowthrowers for Cub Cadets were built by Danco but only the BB-36 was labeled as International Danco. The BB-36 would only be used on the Original. For your Quiet Line you'll need a QA36A or a QA42A. A QA36B could work if you swap out the driven pulley.

A few Months ago I inquired on replacing a K341 in a 1650 with a K241, we did achieve or accomplish this and the 1650 with the K241 is working perfect. Here is an overhead pic of the 10hp K241 and 16hp K341 motors next to each other, any one know which is which?

This K341 drinks a little oil. I had bought the 1650 from a well respected member here knowing it has this issue. This week I finally got around to dismantling it. Here's what I found.

My dad will be over this weekend and look at this and I think he'll confirm I need to take it to a motor guy to have it bored out .010 or .020 It's currently a standard bore.

Here's my new Flywheel puller tool, I think its tough enough...And yes it worked perfect.
