Austin, yes EZ-Slide it is graphite paint. TSC carries it I see. Yes you can paint it on bare metal I use the brand graphite paint pictured in the FAQ I linked to. Like Earl, I also use it on the bare metal of my turning plow to protect the share from rust.

Has anybody tried spraying a few coats of the rustolem Hydrophobic clear "paint"? I pick up a kit on sale a few months ago. I thought I might try it out on the 54" blade this winter. Then I blew the drive shaft out of the Super.

But considering it is virtually impossible for water to stick to it, I thought it might work pretty good. Of course rocks and debris will take its toll...

Austin - Also make sure one of your pulleys isn't spinning on the shaft or that the belt isn't wet or oily.
That spray graphite stuff is messy and slippery as in , as slick as graphite on a door knob!

Got your email Earl. I can't open it though, pictures too big and errors when I try to open on pc. Will take measurements you posted here to see that helps. Thanks!!

Nic B.-

I have not used it, but a friend of mine has (for several pranks)...it does work, according to him.

Spent a whole weekend getting snow equipment on tractors cleaned up and ready and neither one would start this morning. Grrrrrr. Rolled the 122 (which never refuses to start) down the ramp and proceed to further investigate the 782 and finally get it to pop and get things cleaned up for church this morning. Got to get the battery charged in the 122 now. Bet ya the brush is stuck in the holder not charging......

Battery Tender JR. Best $25 you will spend on tractors that need to be ready for winter work ...

I tried sending smaller pics again Mike. I have one side of the subframe on the shaft just outside the frame under the adjustment knob. The lift bracket on the blade frame will clear the frame and grill housing when raised. I know pics would help here, sorry.

I just finished blowing snow and that was the first time since I brought up the RPMs to where it should be. What a difference. It really blows now.

Earl L - Aircooled engines are designed to cool at WOT , you wouldn't want it to over heat in the Minnesota winter temps would ya ? Let'r rip !

Earl L. I'm glad you got your 129 up to speed. Sounds like you're finally blowing some snow!
I pushed the first round with the 100 alright. Glad I cleaned up the carb yesterday!
Oh boy, Charlie how's up north?

I'll put one at a time.
My q/a springs are broke, that's what the bungee is for. Same story on 1200, if I ran with the lower grill, probably would be an issue, but this one is somewhere between here and Steve's. Fell off unfortunately. I'll fix properly some day...

Mike I hope these help you out. It's on dad's 1450, but should be about the same as your 782.

Wide frame blade subframes hook the cross bar inside the frame rails, not outside......it will likely interfere with the lift arm stop tab.

My arms must be bent then. I ran it on 1200 last year fine and dad isn't having issues. I'll fix for next season

Steve - I thought he might have set it to the outside of the frame for the pic to get a good view of how it sat on the rod.
Earl - Shame on you ! LOL (That's what I get for putting my trust in you! Just when I thought you were making progress ...)

I mean, uh. Yeah that's it...

It fit fine so I didn't think anything of it. Oops.
