Charlie, cool photo! Any idea on the story behind it?

Allen - yes I'm here for a little bit, just turn the lights down low.

Kraig - what's that "self-electrifying" thing called anyway?

Hydro, just an animated gif of a light plugging and unplugging itself I found after a quick google search. Not exactly what I was looking for but I didn't want to spend too much time looking for something to post in response to Allen's post about turning the lights off.

Are there also Sodaks? Do they have good times also?

Gerry I.
Sodaks are super friendly and outgoing.

Actually the last time I went to S.D. I picked up that 147 LP.
The guy wasn't home, so I called him and he said he was going to be a while and just leave the money in the mailbox and take the tractor, LOL

I guess he made it home 2 days later, picked up his mail and the money with a paperclip attached and called to let me know he found it!

BTW,
The good thing is, that 147 LP was in the back shed and didn't go up in smoke with the others.

I might have to get that thing started up again one of these days.

Under Edit,
I put (fired up) at first, but thought that might jinx it or at least give it a complex about his buddies that didn't make it, LOL

Sure does look strange with an LP carb and regulator on it. What does it use for a fuel tank, 20# propane tank?...on the back?

Why Charlie - I'm from S. Dakota and I thank you very much. I know if the guy would have been home he would'a put some air in that front tire too. What's hanging off the back - can't quite see it.

I was going to ask the same thing but I think that we see the tank on the back.

Charlie/Steve B/Donald T/ & all others interested in Hydrostatic pump differences between the SGT and the Standard model. Per the source at Danfoss Power Solutions here are the differences in the pumps I posted a while ago: Model 90-1270 (which is the NOS pump I found and purchased recently), LH rotation, 9T spline shaft, right side control lever, No filter, .30cid charge pump, 12T motor shaft, plunger Bypass, special valve plate, no SCR valve, 90-180 charge relief setting, 850/1000 implement pressure.

Model 90-1073 (which is our standard pump), LH rotation, IHC lever on Right, suction port 7/8-14, .30cid charge pump, 500-700 implement pressure

His general comments:
Looking back a history for IHC there was different variation in the implement pressure and charge pressure, which doesn’t mean whole lot.

I guess the only thing to do is to install the pump and see if it works!!!

I have an older gen set run by a 12 hp engine and I have been looking for an lp gas system for it now for three years. I think I would not have issues with lp going bad like gas and storage issues. Send that over here Charlie .

Don, you may want to have second thoughts on propane power. A quick lookup showed a 7000 gen can use 4-8 20# tanks a day! The one on Charlies CUB CADET is industrial size and has to be real heavy, bummer to move around. It was noted a 250 gal tank could last 8-15 days. Still workable idea if only short outages expected.

I agree Charlie, some oil would go along way in there. Although it looks like it needed alot more grease to start with considering it looks like the area behind the big has never seen grease.
