hey there everyone!
its been a little while since ive posted on here but now i got question. i bought a 125 last week so that i would have a motor to swap into my 100. the guy i bought the machine from said it was a 1966 which seemed funny to me at first. then i looked up the serial number and it placed as 1970 or 71 i think but either way not a 125. everything seems original and to that of a 125. is there any chance the rear end was swapped from a different machine?

Scott Tanner... 149 showing signs of life!!!

we should be able to see the sub frame under the tractor connected to the rock shaft. I don`t see that and there is a mod to make the bade stick out from the front of her tractor. PO must have had some fun there. To bad she lives so far away for me to help ! A wide frame sub frame and lift arm should work if you know what you have to have. I think its time for some pictures of a 1650 with the proper set up to show her what is up with what she has.

Hey Michael, a good way to tell the deck size is to take a look at the grease zerks on the two outside spindles. If they are located on the inside holes of the belt shield, its a 38". If on the outside, its a 42". Thats how Ive always distinguished it anyway

ryan thanks for the help but i have a 42 for my 100 that the holes and zerks line up perfect

also while im here when i swap this 125's 12hp into my 100 will it be a bolt out bolt in swap or is there something im missing. the only thing ive seen that concerned me was that the oil pan on the 12 horse is deeper. if needed i still have my entire 10hp block to swap such parts from.

also i was planning on swapping the exhaust between the two just cause im more familar with the sound of the old spin on muffler and was wondering if anyone had some tips for removing the pipe. also on the 12hp i noticed i could rock the pipe back and forth at the block. is this likely a problem with the pipe or block? and should i probably just leave the exhaust alone and start getting familar with the new sound

Beth I am with the others as that does not look correct when you say wont go up and down is that due to the blade or tractor?
The lift on the tractor is not strong enough to lift blade and tiller I have tried.
Also it looks like you have front hydraulic ports on your 1650.
You need the right blade setup and then you will really like it.
