Thanks again KENtuckyKEN I think I'll re pull the piston and take it to my work(work is a Chevy dealership here in Rhode Island)and have one of my techs hit the piston with a thread chaser to see if it can't be straightened out.ouch pig skin that's gruesome.if that doesn't do the trick off to the hydraulic shop I go

Ethan - I'll fix your 125 , you can fix my Silverado.

Put the cab on the 782 yesterday to ward off snow......today we've got close to 2" and it's still falling.

It's not suppose to work like that.....

True, but putting the cab on is usually good for a couple weeks at least!!!

Andy's gone to Florida - he escaped this:

54" Haban blade made quick work of 2" of heavy wet snow.....782 w/thrower and cab stayed in the shed waiting for the next round.....

Steve- Where's your snow pic ?
We got much much needed rain.
Hoping for snow soon !!

Didn't take one in the dark...besides, the Haban blade is on topic, but the hp behind it isn't.

I cleared drive fine with 100/42 inch blade. Need some more weight, I probably put IH inside and plastic outside the rims.
No pics, too dark.

Well I broke 2 flat head screwdriver bits trying to get main jet out of carb. And ****** it up in process. Should have stopped and thought some more before I made more work for myself, but oh well. Has anyone drilled it out some and tried a screw/bolt out? Otherwise I just made a piece of aluminum scrap.

Oi. Hope others had some good seat time in this mess!

And dad had no problems with 1450 and 42 inch blade. Ags did just fine. I'm still going to put 8.5 wide with chains on it. Next weekend I hope.

I know how you feel! Only took 20 minutes for my 30x60 ft driveway! 100 performed nicely minus needing more weight. But it didn't spin that badly in this wet mess surprisingly.

Good morning, All. Can I re-glue a clutch disc back onto the Original clutch plate. I had one come off while removing the parts for inspection. If not where would I find another disc? I see that CCS doesn't currently have any discs in stock. TIA. Stay SAFE and WARM today.

Marlin - You get up to early !
Myself I'd put it back on with that JB CRAP! because it has a good high temp rating compared to regular epoxy. Regular epoxy doesn't harden completely and stays flexible and might let go when heat builds up in the disk. Just clean the surfaces good using 60 or 80 grit to get a bite then acetone or lacquer thinner to wipe it down.
Clamp it between a couple pieces of wood. Might not hurt to wrap the wood with wax paper just incase of squeeze out.

Good morning , good by , gotta hit the road.

Marlin you might have to resurface the face of it to get it trued up again so that it's not contacting first if it's high or not at all if it's low.

Hey Everyone,

So I was out plowing with my 124 and when I came to the end of a pass on my driveway as I lifted the plow to back up I heard a very loud crack, the engine shook and died. Subsequent attempts to start resulted in the starter spinning the flywheel and driveshaft, but it doesn't sound like there is any compression - the engine doesn't sound like it is trying to start.

I'm thinking it is a broken connecting rod or a stuck valve maybe? Is my next step to pull the head and see what is going on inside the cylinder? Are there any other diagnostic steps to take before pulling the head? This is all new to me so don't be shy to explain it like I know nothing about these engines.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Jason M.
The the engine is turning the driveshaft at least you didn't toast the crank.

Pull the head, I'm betting your gonna find a piston not going up and down like it should.
