Have little over half of the 500 break in miles on it in 2 days and 3 trips so far.
Hopefully by the start of next week I will have the other 240 miles in and I can change out the break in oil befor the weather get cold.

Been busy braking in the new bike over the holiday weekend. Now have a tad over 800 miles on it, time for its first scheduled maintance.

Now that all of the gutters are properly pitched and rehung, and all of the down spouts are working correctly, I have a new problem. Looks like I'll be doing some trenching.

This is really gettin' stupid.

As of today I have a tad over 1200 miles on my new ride. My plans are to try for 3000 miles befor the snows come.
Got the windshield installed, and the saddlebags mounted, next will be the sissybar and luggage rack.

hey brian, i wonder if it would be possible t make a trencher for a cub... then you'd be getting your cub time...

Charles, there was trenchers available. I think if you search the archives you should find some info on them. I believe they are on everyone's wish list.

Lonny:
My plans are to put 3K (or more) on AFTER the snow flies.....I'm getting ready to do the 1000 mile service on my V-Star, I've got about 1200 miles on it - have to set valves and change oil/filter.....

Tim- Ouch! That's pretty bad, hope no one was hurt. Was that your house that was in the second picture?

Charles- Treancher would be very nice, I would even settle for a backhoe.

Brian
Not my house. That is a house in a ritzy subdivision around a lake. The ravine behind the house slumped. About three acres of ground slumped and slid about 6 feet. We have been surveying flood damage in Indiana since June.

This is a view from back lawn. We have been working on this for two years, Part time.It is 1.4 miles from county road.

Here is a view from south side of brother inlaws house.

Some of my cubs will get a workout there this winter fixing the lawn and hauling fire wood. We cut right of way for 1 mile so we have plenty wood. I may start my small cabin this fall. About 0.3 mile from this one.

the biggest thing that is killing my cub time is getting the Big "D" from the soon to be ex!!!

Hugh, sorry to hear that, what a bummer! Ummm, make sure you get the recipe for those bars!!!

Luther, quite the view from there! Very nice.

having to do full time mowing with other machines is real good at killing my cub time

Laid off for the rest of the year!

So much for extra cub funds. On the flip side now I have all the Cub time I could ever want.

Not enough cub time, no problem, just get canned wish I had thought of that sooner.
