My guys are the same when it comes to inspections. They don't like the noise so they run like hell but when I stop a tractor there's cat on it in a matter of minutes. I'm actually glad they run and don't stick around when I'm operating anything noisy. I don't have to worry about running over anybody.

The new kitten, Lynda has the run of the house for the most part when I'm inside. She hasn't been outside now for a couple of months. The rest of the guys tolerate her and Barney has turned out to be a great help. He is totally use to her and they play like crazy. Millie and Graygirl could care less and still hiss when Lynda comes near. The next step is taking her outside but I have a big hawk that's been out there every day for a while now. She's getting big but not that big...yet.

Wayne, Lynda is a cutie! How about a photo of her where we can see her markings?

Frank C..have the tweedle kids headed south yet? I told Fancy to be watching, but neither of us have seen them.

Awww, Princess, the girl with a mission, I mean Big Mission and chore, keeping track of those cubbies SHE owns, and making sure they all come back home to HER in working order...hahaha

Wayne, Lynda sure looks a lot like our Hannah, and with those big gold eyes too. she is such a cutie. Its so good to hear she has the run of the house, and ahhh, remember me saying I thought BARNEy and HER would be pals? I called that one right, huh? lol.

Nothing much new here. The kids continue to play Doctor Fancy and nurse Hannah and Annie since I am sooo struggling with my eyes. I go in for eye surgery next Thursday, October 3rd, but till them they are keeping me sane, kind of. hahaha

Have a good one everyone..

Cath: They're long gone. Fortunately, the BIG WIND (small tornado?) of 9-11-13 left their "house" intact:

I did some "backwards math" after keeping quite close track of the second hatch and expect to see them back about Memorial Day of 2014.

Frank.. so what is this about a tornado going thru on Sept. 11th?

Allen, the video was so sweet. I have to say that is one large litter of kitties. Surely one mommy didnt give birth to all of those? lol.. if she did, she is one POWER puma.. hahaha.

Sunday morning I got up and Annie was sitting in the kitchen holding her leftleg/ paw up. She was kind of klutzy when trying to walk on three legs. lol. Marlin got up and I told him she was hurt, and the first thought was to call our emergency vet. But then I hesitated, and said lets see how she does. She has a very low threshold for pain and is abit of a drama queen, so I wasn't sure exactly what was going on. We think she might have miscalulated when jumping down from something and sprained it. She did improve greatly within a few hours, and by the end of the day, she was herself again,so that was a HUGe relief.

I haven't been able to walk Fancy much due to eye issues, but low and behold Fancy has started power walking with daddy. Daddy is sooo happy Fancy PW's with him too. Yesterday I was so missing not walking with him and it was a beautiful day, so I said to heck with the pain and took him out. I feel the weather is going to change, so enjoy it while we can.

HI, All.

I'm going to post here since I feel that it isn't necessary to start a new thread. And the kitties are involved with her healing process.

Angel's surgery went as planned and right now Fancy is at her feet as she is trying to rest on the hideabed/couch. The doctor said that she'll experience the worst pain on Sunday which is normal. I'll take her back on the tenth for a checkup. And I'll keep everyone posted on her progress. Angel said to say, "HI, to everyone!!!

Thanks, Marlin. Tell Cath we wish her well. Our tornado, or big wind, whichever, hit the OxBow area last Sept. 11 and did a lot of damage involving downed trees and powerlines. We were w/o power for about 12 hours. The hunters and loggers in the woods got the worst of it, having to cut trees out of the roads to get home that evening. God bless the linesmen that get out in miserable weather like that just to keep our lights on! They were here at 3:30am the 12th and done before I could perk a pot of coffee for them!

Thank You Marlin for the update. Here's hoping the doc is wrong and the pain is gone by sunday!

Chris & I are keeping good thoughts for you both.
