100 Day huh,
Here's mine with the bagger and Gators.
I need to use it more often though.

Here's my 100. Consider this a "before" picture and don't expect to see the after pic until about 2013. It's way down the to-do list at this point. It doesn't have headlights but it does have the 3 pt with spring assist. It should be a lot of fun to see this machine under its own power once again. Time will tell.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have a tractor of the month sort of thing and everyone having that model to post it. Sometimes the pics get a little scarce (sp) and everybody likes pics. So far my favorite is Arts because I want a boxblade something terrible and the gard-n-cart is very versitile (sp again) offering weight, protection, and just plain "cool".

Talking about fenders on a 100, the original fender mounting plates (the part that bolts to the skirt of the fender and the tractor frame rail), are different sizes (width)for a tractor with 6-12 rear tires (P/N 384 747 R1) and one with 8.50-12 rears (P/N 387 915 R1), but after years of fender selling/buying on epay and other sites, it is not uncommon to find either size used with either size tire.

Since it is CC 100 day... This is the only one that I currently have in working order, but it WORKS!

Paul B., cool, I'd never heard that before. Thanks for the info!

I hate it when hard drives die... my drive with my archives just went. Most of the stuff is backed up on several other PCs and back up drives. I'll just need to re-archive a week or two of posts after I get a new drive.

Paul B.,
You guessed right, it is a 65' model 100!

Harry,
I will trade those wide wheels and tires for a set of narrow ones if you have some. I just like the looks of the narrow ones better on the 70 and 100.
This 100 also has a lift with the spring assist. and don't let me forget the reflectors for the fenders too!
My other 100 has fenders/reflectors, headlights, grote tail light, spring assisted lift, creeper gear, wide/high flotation tires, and IH wheel weights.

Wayne,
What in the world is more important than restoring a cub cadet?

My wife told me I love cc's more than her!

All these pics of 70's and 100's make me almost as excited as Harry.

LUCAS - If I had to make an educated guess I'd say the S/G makes more amps than the AQS engine. According to the Kohler manual the AQS charging system only makes either 10 or 15A, and a S/G makes 15+. When I had the local engine shop rebuild the one on the 72 right after I got it 30 yrs ago they tested it @ 18A.

Had a real nice chat with "LINDA" @ V------ yesterday about how s--l--o--w My wireless has gotten the last week. My old dial-up was faster.
What hurts, SON was showing off his new Motorola Droid phone a week ago, He can pull up the Internet app, and get on a webpage and post QUICKER than I can log into the internet by ohhh about 15-20 seconds. My Folk's old phone co. down in ILL buried fiber optic phone lines 3-4 yrs ago where there's only THREE households per mile. Wonder when We'll get F/O here six miles from Madison?

Big Steve's 100......It has countless hours on it, rebuilt when I was a little kid....

Guys, I have a friend interested in my 44C deck to put on his 149. I know he needs the correct drive pulley and belt to match the PTO. Can we transfer his mule drive pulleys from the 42" mule drive to the 44C mule drive to make it work? Also, are there any other things that need swapped? I don't get into the deck area since I don't mow with my tractors.
Thanks, John

Does anybody use a leaf vacuum in the Fall to clean up their yard? I don't post often here, but read everyday.
Will my 1250 with a 44A deck work well with my Agri-Fab leaf vacuum? This has a 5 horse motor and is the hard sided one. It works well with my newer Husqvarna. It seems as the blades do not spin near as fast as the newer tractors so I an concerned that it will clog the hose or not work well. this will be used on my Mothers yard which sees a lot of large sycamore leaves. My buddy wants to purchase the Husqvarna from me and this will leave me with the 1250 for all my duties at my Moms house.
I need to post some pictures of it since itis new to me from the original owner with only 340 hours!! Can I post them off my cell phone?
Thanks, Mark

Marty-

It's not that I'm putting it off; there are three or four or five ahead of it. I work sloooooow. I really can't wait to just get it running. It shouldn't take a lot but with a family crisis and this dad-blame heat not much is getting done here at all.

Keep em coming guys. These pics are great!
