Josh, week or 2 ago you posted that you did not like your tri-ribs - so I said you can send them to the other end of Wisconsin - to me... I guess you missed it.

Don, thanks for the link, I currently don't need any - especially if Josh sends me his....

Now I can see all the pics , I went back to an old copy of Netscape.
Thanks again AOL (Time Warner) for buying then killing Netscape.

I refuse to update Firefox on my work PC, I'm still using version 2.0.0.20. My home tower PC has the latest version and it doesn't always display the images, one laptop has the latest version and the other one still has version 2.0.0.20 of Firefox. I hate IE.

Well my 129 is giving me fits again. Engine starts smoking out the dipstick and loosing power. Today was going to be plow day and I got the garden 1/3 done before it started acting up. So I said screw it and start taking off the rear lift and putting it on my 1000.

My Question:
Ran into a problem... is there a difference with the long bar that attaches the rear lift to the handle between a 1X9 and gear drive QL? The bar is hitting the part of the tranny that mounts the to right side frame rail not allowing it do drop any further and the bolt holes it needs to attache to are about an inch lower...

Re:Donald Tanner "I would have to ask what those tires cost? Or Cub Cadets are real cheap down your way !"

I paid $300 for the cub. The Gators were $74 and the V61's were about $55 each if memory serves. Add tubes, shipping, mounting and I was around $300.

Tristan, check the breather assembly on your 129, sounds like it may be plugged up and/or assembled incorrectly.

The 129 and 1000 both use the same lift bar.

Be sure to inspect the holes in the block that are in the valve spring/breather compartment to make sure that they are not blocked.

Well I searched through the muck at firefox and ended up filling out a report ... we'll see what happens.

Kraig - Mine updates without my consent I'll have to see if there's a switch to flip it off

I'll pull the plug if I have to use I.E.

Tristan - I gave $175 for my Mud Gears and I'd put them on my TOY if they came in that size.

Donald - As usual I have no idea what you meant.

Frank - Can you translate ??

Tristan Stewart
now I would have to say your breather is in need of a cleaning and the float sticks.
Cubs ain`t cheap here lol.guy up the road had a 100 in just horrible shape.Big rubber strap on the crepper.rusted bad and not run in 4 years, oh and set out doors that long. He got $850.00 of it.

Tristan - Another thing to add to Kraig's post , does your dipstick seal ?
When I bought my 2166 I didn't get the stick pushed in all the way and it started smoking and got weak. I lifted the hood and there was oil soaked into the breather filter. (carb filter)

Firefox / Mozilla users having same problem Go here and fill out the little form so they know it's a widespread problem.

I know this CRAP is way off topic but ya just gotta love the CRAP they give us to work with...

This is my history of updates

I have a 782 and the steering shaft seems to be raising out of the centering tube on the dash about a 1/2". ANy ideas on what may be causing this and how to fix it. It doesn't happen all the time just on long mow jobs. Thanks for any help.

Thanks, i couldn't see the manual. In this pic the white piece on the left(is that what is needed)
PHOTO I purchased an accessory book but it only covers the model 2 tiller

Do anyone have any tricks to make the deck on a 782 lift any higher. The wheels on the deck drag even when it is all the way up.

Come to think of it, it might only be my firefox machine that has the random pic dropping issue... I'll try to confirm that shortly. Too bad, Firefox used to be a great browser.

I'll look into the breather suggestions you guys had. In the mean time nothing I can possibly do seems to let me line up the bolt holes on the lift bar... its hitting the transmission mount. Hard to get a picture illustrating his clearly but here is my best shot. The holes are atleast 1/2" to high

Usualy this kind of stuff ends up being an ID 10 T error on my part but right now I am just not seeing how this is gonna work...

How do you clean your pre-filter. To get the oils out. Or should i buy a new one
