I see me sending an order to Charlie

Don, was that hose clamped onto that fitting? Not much there to clamp onto. Looks like you need either a barbed fitting or to make it passable by the correct police, the proper metal fuel line and compression fitting(s).

Hey that's got the old Kill Button on the point cover.
I'd put a new fitting in the carb and put a hard line back on it and I'd leave all that filth on the carb. I'd see if a mechanical fuel pump would fit with the frame , if so I'd put a fuel pump on that sucker ! I don't have a K series here with the block off plate ...

Speaking of fuel pumps, it might be time for a photo or 2 of Wyatt's Wheatland Cub project from a few years back.

I might have put up with this leak till snail Mail arrives.

Did Wyatt ever finish that or did he send it down the road ?

KENtucky, I believe he still has it but he's not yet finished it.

Wyatt,

Donald - I wasn't going to do this but ! telling me not to do something is like a Tax Free America. It aint gonna happen so here goes ...

Earlier you posted this.
"<u><font color="0000ff">Frank C sent me</font></u> the taper reamer and <u><font color="0000ff">the fuel leak</font></u> with a new bowl."
I would find a better friend !

Does anyone have the removal procedure for taking the driveshaft off and engine out of a 128, i have looked over faq's and can't find anything, diagrams would help also.

Eric - Un-do all the electrics and gas line. Remove the gas tank would be good but not necessary. You can see the bolts that need un-bolted at the shaft coupler / flywheel. Next get a floor jack and raise the front axle up high and block it up for safety. Next unbolt the engine. 2 of the bolts are up above the axle and you have to tilt the axle down on one side at a time to get to them. Lower jack and get a hernia lifting the engine out.

<font color="0000ff">under edit</font>: <font color="0000ff">Inspect the frame where the front axle cross member is because they like to crack in the corners on the narrow frames</font>

Eric, I saw your earlier post but got side tracked, sorry.

Someone was just telling me he had some spare wheels. Oh, I remember, now - it was Don T. Don: Now's the time for you to set up an electrolysis tank and see how it works on those rear wheels. Take the tires off, first.
biggrin.gif

Sorry about the taper reamer giving you a gas leak.

Hey guys, I was just tuning up my 128 yesterday and saw that nice bushed hole just behind the hood latch tab on the right side of the dash pillar. (You can see that hole in the second picture down on that engine removal post.)

I though, "hmmm, I wonder what goes in that hole?"
I was sure that the hydro lever from a 129 installs in the dash itself, so its not that. Is there and option I should be keeping my eye out for? I already picked up some nice 149 headlights for it.

KEN - Last I heard about 6 months ago Wyatt still had the Wheatland Plow Special. It's not quite ready to plow yet however.

Nic, that would be for the hydraulic lift control lever.

KENtucky, it wasn't me.

Finally getting some cub time, Pulled a worn out 12hp from the 128 and am dropping in a spare 10hp temorarily, hope the 10 runs as i have never had it started and came from a rescue.
My question is what is the difference between a 44A deck and a 44C deck?
