Josh - I wouldn't want to lift a 14" turning plow all day over my shoulder with it but they work good. It has pretty good leverage with the long handle and the lift tabs short to the pivot bar.

Josh, KENtucky, here's one that Myron B. has. Note that he had to bend the lift arm to clear the fenders on his 122. Also note that he has a Gannon Earthcavator mounted, those are VERY heavy.

Kraig - He sure has to reach back far to get the handle with it angled like that.
His "tabs" are hitting the plate , but if he changed it then he'd loose the down depth or not cam over and lock when up.
Don't ya just love hydraulics ... or electric ! (where's my extension cord I got 20 acres to plow)

KENtucky, perhaps Myron will post more info on it. I recall he said that he was going to rework the handle for better leverage for using the Gannon. The handle was previously modified to clear the fenders, ya work with what ya got. Your last comment reminds me of you using your power drill to move that Hough fork lift, or whatever it was.

Under edit: Now that Charlie posted above, I'm not sure which handle KENtucky was referring to, the control handle on the Gannon, or the one on the Sears 3 point lift.

The handle is actually in a pretty good spot on my 169, even with the Cat.0.
I initially thought it would to far to reach at first.

KENtucky, that's it! (the drill)

KENtucky-2, ah, so I was on the right track. Charlie just confused the issue with his comment about the Gannon's handle.

Charlie, seeing that you don't like those crappy 1x9s, I could drive up and take that off your hands, especially if you leave Aaron's "Xtreme Motorworks" 3 point and the Gannon mounted to it.

Kraig - I was thinking along those lines myself. It sure seems that he (Digger) uses / posts a lot of pics of something he doesn't like. You think it's ,"If I use it enough it'll grow on me" syndrome ?

Harvey, WELCOME!

Wow, 9 coils, Yikes! As several others have mentioned make sure you have the proper coil with the internal resistor. Please let us know when/if you get it figured out.

Don T., what model Cub Cadet are you wanting to hot wire?
dunno.gif
And why?
1a_scratchhead.gif

KENtucky, could be. I did notice after I posted that it's his 169 which he's not complained about. He's only complained about the 149, so I had to do a quick edit.

I just bought some Tri-Ribs and might be sending them BACK!
I actually thought they would be taller.
188428.jpg

I did call the people that are selling them and asked if they were from the North gook country or South Vietnam. They didn't know or didn't want to say, but said they would call me back.

Kraig & Kentuck,
At least with a 169, you expect it to rattle your teeth and buzz your ear drums, but it's worth it.

He needs to put the tunnel cover back on to keep the hydro cool... if it didn't end up getting sold.
He'll sell anything on that fancy parts website he has , you ever been there ?

Had to make that one up real quick !

I will remove both rear rims and drain them as they have no tubes and are weighted. and reapir the steering . Frank C sent me the taper reamer and the fuel leak with a new bowl.that will keep me out of trouble for a couple hrs lol.

On the HoT Wire Idea, well I would like to know what conections one has to make to have a Cub Running using jump wires. this would be a great help in finding problems with them. Have you got something to help me with this. Coil would need power and thats it to run I would say.Is that the only jump I would have to make ??? Thanks Kraig... Don

I am sorry to say that im losing faith in tri-ribs. After they fill with mud you dont get good traction, sure more that a wide tire but nevertheless. And whoever says turn front ag tires backwards to avoid them filling with mud should be
bottom.gif
. I did that and they not only filled with mud but didnt clean out either. i drove it for a week and the mud didnt come off. then i turned them around and all of the mud flew off before i even got out of my shed.

Don T, you shoulda went with windshield washer fluid
