I am looking for part number 3000 It is the piece that goes on the pedestal for the original cub cadet to hold the rod to engage the snowthrower..model BB-36

Howard S: Part # 3000????

According to CPE-2 Section F, Snowthrower BB-36, pgs 10 & 11:

1) the bracket that holds/guides the BB-36 chute control rod bolts to the frame - not the pedestal.

2) the part number in the parts manual is IH-475558-R1.

This is the bracket on the left side of the tractor to engage the belt... It bolts to the pedestal at the top and the bottom... Thanks

Howard S: Since you don't have the CPE-2 Parts Manual for the part number or the correct terminology and haven't posted a photo to help id this part, you've got me guessing. But maybe it's called the: Bracket Assembly Rear IH-475587-R91 (the idler control rod is inserted in it).
